Losing Jobs at the Race Track
The excuse for being laid off of a "non- union" job was senority, my hire date was later than so-an-so thus so-and-so will keep his/her position. Not only are some of these so-and-so's negligent and don't do the work expected but many are actually doing other activities that are interfering with the job. The management is actually rewarding detrimental behavior! In this economy should bad behavior on the job be rewarded and doing a not only good job but an excellent job be punished???
